VINCENT ZHU
Vincent Zhu is a photographer based between Sydney and the Central Coast — concerts, corporate events and weddings are where he spends most of his time, wherever the booking takes him. Each one moves differently, but the job stays the same: being in the right place when the moment happens.
His live-performance clients include 831, Idealism and Dear Jane, shot for stage atmosphere and the exact second a room turns into one crowd. He covers corporate annual events, award ceremonies and conferences with the same eye for the unscripted moment, and shoots weddings, engagements and birthdays on medium format — quiet ceremony or loud reception, whatever the day calls for.
On clear nights well outside the city, he also shoots long-exposure landscapes of the Milky Way — a much longer wait for the same kind of moment — and keeps a Leica M6 loaded with film for whatever doesn't fit the brief.
